Hula Hoops

To help keep classes exciting during the summer we have incorporated the use of weighted hula hoops into some of our classes. For those of you not familiar with weighted hula hoops, they are filled with water and are actually easier to use then regular hoops. It is suggested that you start hooping just 1 -2 minutes in each direction and work your way up as it may cause bruising. Not only is hula hooping fun and a reminder of your childhood it is an incredible work out and a great way to burn calories while toning your abs!! It was just featured in Health magazine this month. Let me know and I’ll be happy to bring an extra one to class for you. This also makes a great gift for new moms – a perfect way to burn off the baby belly !!
